When judging who should be ranked #1, sometimes you have to balance wins and losses; not just look for an undefeated team.

Now, you'd be forgiven for assuming that Life University would garner the #1 team after beating Lindenwood, but that's not the case.

GRR's #2 Life University defeated #1 Lindenwood on the road in St. Charles, Mo. Saturday.

It wasn't really a surprise in that Life has only lost to Lindenwood once (albeit earlier this season) in 15s, and often plays very well at Lindenwood. This is what happened on Saturday night. Life came in girded for payback and edged Lindenwood 32-26.

The Collegiate Rugby Championship 7s event is back and under the aegis of National Collegiate Rugby.

NCR acquired the rights to the CRC tournament, name, and intellectual property and through NCR 7s Commissioner Pat Clifton has been developing how to bring the CRC competition back.

The University of Arizona men's team got back on the field and did it victoriously,

The Wildcats took care of Grand Canyon 62-20, leading 55-3 after about 55 minutes and then seeing GCU score some late tries to close it up.
