GRR: College Men
It’s a huge weekend in Men’s DII college rugby as most leagues get moving.
Here's a rundown:
Great MidwestOne of the toughest leagues in the division sees five games on the slate. Minnesota-Duluth played, and beat, Northern Michigan last week to open up this weekend for the All-Minnesota tournament. So now NMU has to bounce back against a tough Marquette team.
Towson opened their inaugural season in the Mid Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) with a trip to the University of Delaware and a nicely-taken victory.
Towson struck first when junior scrumhalfH Jake Commodari picked off an errant pass at the Delaware 10-meter-line and darted to the tryline carrying a defender to score in the corner.
The Army West Point men's rugby team managed to get by a very tough Dartmouth side 29-23 on Sunday, logging a nice victory against one of the top DIAA teams in the nation.
Army was coming off a loss to Trinity, the Dublin University team that toured the East Coast, and this game offered a chance to rebound.
This is how GRR Editor Alex Goff is voting in the D1A rankings this week.

We're pretty excited about Kutztown and Clemson and Ohio State logged noticeable results.
The US Naval Academy men's rugby team took two teams to St. Bonaventure this weekend, winning both the A-side and B-side contests.
