Boston College won the ACRL 7s, overcoming an impressive field of college teams.
The University of Minnesota-Duluth won the Fool's Fest Men's DII college bracket at Winona State in Minnesota.
The win qualifies the Fighting Penguins for a spot in the USA Rugby's DII 7s championships. UW-Eau Claire finished 2nd, and Winona 3rd.
Full order of finish:
1. Duluth 2. Eau Claire 3. Winona 4. Platteville 5. Stout 6. St. Thomas 7. UNI 8. Mankato.
The Temple University rugby team might well be forgiven for having a chip on their shoulder.
After all, the Owls have endured several years of criticism for, of all things, showing up.
