GRR: College Men
College and college-related games this week weren't exactly common, but there were a few, and here's how they went down.
The Tropical 7s week, which culminates in the tournament April 2-3, is looking nicely put together, but there are still spots open.
As more regions become more open to training and play, more teams are able to get themselves ready.
Three games, at the moment anyway, look to be on the slate in men's college rugby this weekend; let's keep the fingers crossed they can play them.
First up is the rematch between Arkansas State and Lindenwood. ASU has to feel like they didn't capitalize on the pressure they built a month ago. So have they been able to improve in training since then? Quite possibly.
Iowa State University Head Coach Anthony Frein used hard work, flexibility, communication, and an attention to detail to get his ISU Cyclones college team to play games during the COVID Pandemic.
Normally we rank men's college teams by division, with a D1A ranking separate from a D1AA ranking or DII, but this year is, of course, different from most, and we're just happy to see teams playing.
