GRR: College Men
It is a little bit of a quieter weekend now that some teams have dropped off during conference championship time.
With a few teams having already secured conference titles, they take a week off. Others, of course, didn't make the playoffs or were eliminated, so their fall is basically done.
It was a wild ride while it lasted.
There's still plenty to play for in the Rugby East, not least because of the CRAA/NCR split.
In some ways this fall has been a season of turnarounds in Men’s D2 rugby, but few, if any, are more profound than what has happened in Mankato, Minn.
DIAA NCR playoffs this fall are just part of a fairly muddled picture for (mostly) club teams in (mostly) large colleges.
NCRExpect the MAC, SCRC, Liberty, Southern, and MARC to contribute teams to this playoff.
It was a bit of a tough week for making these rankings because we do have some teams we'd like to move into the Top 50, but those ranked in the lower reaches actually did pretty well.
So Nazareth, West Chester, and Salisbury all have to wait. But just so you know ... we're thinking of you the whole time.
