GRR: USA Men 7s
Early morning US time sees the USA men get back at it in the SVNS World Series, and there is a ton of work to do.
Ranked 11th out of 12 teams after two tournaments, the Eagles came off inexperienced, inconsistent, and not fit enough.
New Head Coach Simon Amor reacted by bringing in some top coaches and former team captains to push the players through a bit of a boot camp.
It has not been a great start to the SVNS season for the USA Men's 7s team.
They look ahead to the Perth Sevens ranked 11th out of 12 and thinking about how to get to the top right.
Coming out of Dubai the USA Men's 7s team has to be feeling frustrated.
The USA Men’steam ended their Dubai weekend winless and in last place.
This is a new team with a new coach and they played like it, showing ability, and pushing their opposition, but they were unable to put in a full 14 minutes. This wasn't for lack of effort, it was mostly for lack of experience.
It's important to remember that the USA men's 7s team is not only on a rebuilding course, but is rebuilding off a group that was on a rebuilding course.
