San Francisco Golden Gate won a meeting of highly-ranked Northern California teams as the #13 SFGG outfit beat #11 Peninsula Green in NorCal Top 5 competition Saturday.
Peninsula Green and SFGG won key games in Northern California's Top 5 division.
Pen Green defeated a very tough CK McClatchy team 31-12 to move to 2-0.
It took Pen Green about 20 minutes to get their game moving, but once they did, they put together some effective phase rugby.
SFGG and Granite Bay battled to a 25-25 tie on Saturday in a game that served a couple of purposes.
