Peninsula Green Beats SFGG

Peninsula Green knocked off rivals SFGG in a Northern California DI game this weekend that helped cement PG’s position as one of the strongest teams in that division.

The game was very tight, and the high winds and cold, wet weather didn’t help.

Top Names in Storer HS Tornament
While the men’s college teams play in the Storer Classic this weekend at UCLA, there’s another part of the tournament that boasts a pretty impressive lineup of teams. The Boys HS tournament that has been a part of the Storer Classic from the beginning will include some of the top teams from California.

SFGG Launches Fall Academy

The San Francisco Golden Gate club is will launch their new Rugby Academy October 12.

The Academy is for players 14-18 years of age, and will meet for an intense series of sessions on Sundays.

The Academy is not designed to take players away from their current HS teams.

Heavy Cal, Gaels Contingent in SFGG Team to Limerick

The San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Club will once again send a team to the World Club 7s, to be held at Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick, Ireland August 9-10.

SFGG is in Pool C, where they will face off against the tournament hosts Munster, legendary Fijian 7s side Daveta, and the Moscow Saracens.
