Lindenwood defeated Life 24-14 in the final of the Men’s CRC Monday afternoon, surprising many who expected Life’s high octane attack to get the better of the Lions.
But unleashing a physical, aggressive defensive strategy, Lindenwood took away Life’s ability to exploit space and got in the faces of the Running Eagles.
The CRC college tournament is set to kick off at 9AM Saturday morning in New Orleans.
The first half of the women's tournament will be held with the 1st Round and the quarterfinals being played. In addition, the first round of the men's games will be played.
There's also a college alumni 10s tournament with a round-robin series going on there.
