The Men’s D2 college playoffs this fall will look quite different from 2022 or 2021.
Oh, sure, the actual number of teams won’t be all that much different, but who those teams are will be.
NCR Finalizes Championship Dates, Venues for 2023-24
The SCRC has released its schedules for the fall of 2023.
With the University of Kentucky switching to NCR to join the rest of the league, the scheduling is a little easier and will expand to a consistent five league games per team in DIAA. Auburn has resisted pushes from some quarters to move to DIAA after some success in D2, and the D2 league will remain six teams.
Marist defeated RPI in the final of the Tri-State Conference 7s Sunday in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Marist defended very well and outscored their three pool opponents, Seton Hall, Vassar, and Molloy, 105-5.
Fairfield won Pool B, holding off a determined USMMA in the key game. RPI took Pool C with wins over Hofstra B, WPU/MSU, and SUNY Maritime.
