GRR: Men DI Rankings
Big changes after Tennessee's loss to Clemson. Yes, only one point, but since Tennessee beat South Carolina, USC drops down, too, while Clemson moves up.
Everyone has a shot at moving up, of course.
This was a really good weekend for the rankings because we had seven games in which NCR D1 ranked teams played other NCR D1 ranked teams.
In addition, three NCR D1 teams played CRAA D1A opposition.
We'll have more on what Arkansas State is up to, but their significant victory over Iowa Central bumps them up this week.
Iowa Central CC Head Coach Brent Nelson told us we had Arkansas State ranked too low, and we're inclined to agree.
OK, we won't keep you in suspense, there are no changes.
There are no changes in our D1A rankings.
There will be more games as we go on, but right now, we didn't see anything (including Navy's loss to Trinity) that screamed "Change It!"
So, really, this is just for your records.
A few outbreaks of the latest version of COVID meant for a couple of canceled games.
In addition, lightning kiboshed a game or two. Still we got to see some results and also two warmup tournaments that give us a little insight into how those teams look.
