Florida’s high School champion is going to be a little bit closer to being picked with the state semis this coming weekend.
After the regional playoffs produced two winners, the top two from each region play off in a crossover semifinal Saturday. Jupiter is at Orland and Jacksonville is at Cardinal Gibbons.

Four teams from Region 1 and four teams from Region 2 will compete in two rounds to determine a Region winner. However, each region finalist still gets a shot at the state title.

The single-school team has beaten St. Thomas Aquinas, Boca Raston, and, most recently, West Pines to lead its league. It's a good start, said Coach Eric Aumann.
