The Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference in DIAA could well decide most of its seeding this weekend.
The playoffs beckon for Washington State University, but there’s still work to do to get there.
At 3-1-1 the Cougars sit third in the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference, where the top four go into the semifinals. But two games remain on the schedule - 3-2 Oregon this weekend, and 5-0 Washington two weeks later. The good news for WSU is that both games are at home.
New England College Head Coach Jeremy Treece has stepped down from his post.
Treece apparently did so late last week, and the position is officially open.
New England College has announced it is looking for a new coach.

New England College Men's Rugby Head Coach
As March is around the corner there’s the little matter of figuring out who will be in the Men’s DIAA playoffs.
The DIAA championship is starting to garner some interest around the nation, and programs realize this is a good post-season for smaller DI programs, clubs, and up-and-coming quasi-varsity teams.
Grand Canyon University stayed in the Gold Coast Conference hunt with a 59-26 defeat of Cal State Fullerton 59-26 at GCU’s Colter Field Saturday.
