Air Force delivered another blow to the Navy women, defeating the visiting Midshipmen 47-22 in front of a dense crowd last weekend. Navy, an Independent DI team competing in ACRA, needs to hit a hot streak if it’s to be considered as an at-large inclusion in playoffs.

Playing on the Terrazzo in the middle of the Air Force Academy campus, Air Force defeated Navy Friday afternoon in a non-conference clash between the rival service academies. Led by two tries from No. 8 Garrett Jameson and two from open side flanker Greg Search, the Zoomies were just a little more polished than the Midshipmen, who had not played as much of late.

The US Naval Academy Men’s Team is in Colorado Springs this Friday to take on Air Force in a Military Academy rivalry game. This is an important event in part because this year something is happened that should happen every season, as all three academies are playing each other. Navy plays Army every season, and while a date hasn’t been set, it’s expected to happen.

The US Air Force Academy made a big statement in the West DIA Conference Saturday with a decisive 66-24 defeat of Colorado State. With CSU having beaten Colorado handily, and thus eating a spot in the Goff Rugby Report rankings, Air Force’s victory is all the more impressive.

The West DIA Conference got going this weekend with Colorado at Colorado State and Air Force at New Mexico. CSU had to postpone their Friday night match until Saturday because of the weather, but handled it just fine and shut out the Buffaloes 57-0. Meanwhile, Air Force won big on the road, 59-14 over New Mexico. Air Force Head
