Clemson University hosts Life University a week from Friday night at Clemson in what is essentially Life’s only foray with their varsity team, and a big test for the Tigers, as well.

The game will be broadcast live on Coaches Aid - no charge or registration required to see it live. The game will start at 7pm Eastern Time. Go to www.coachesaid.com to see it.

However, there’s a wrinkle. On a weekend of historically heavy rains in South Carolina, the tailgating for the Clemson v Notre Dame football game was held on the rec sports field. The result was a quagmire which the school is now working hard to fix, or to find a place for the rugby game to go on.

Clemson Head Coach Steven Lynch said he has full confidence in the school to make sure this game will be played as planned.

“Everyone is working hard to get ready for homecoming. Rusty Guill, Dean of Students, has been incredible supportive, and I have complete confidence that Dave Frock, Executive Director of Campus Recreation will find a solution for us.” 

Certainly the school has to have options available.
