The 7th Annual NorCal Girls Rugby Kick-Off Festival was just as much of a success as NorCal Girls Rugby Chairman Karen Chance had hoped for. The same four teams that competed in the first middle school girls’ league will also be playing in the 32nd annual Kickoff Tournament.
The Inaugural game of the newly formed Girls Middle School Division for Rugby NorCal took place at the 7th Annual NorCal Girls Rugby Kick-Off Festival this last Saturday, Jan 16 in Elk Grove. Rugby NorCal has four full Girls Middle School teams this season.
Morris Rugby, a top rugby club located in Morris County NJ and established in 1998, has expanded to include Women’s, Masters, U12, U14, U16, U18 Boys, and U14 to U18 Girls teams.
Morris Rugby established the first American Flag Rugby Team in 1998 and now is home to 10 programs in Northern NJ.
Play Rugby USA, in partnership with the Northeast Academy, is proud to announce it has been selected by the United States Olympic Committee as the nation’s 16th Community Olympic Development Program and the first in the country for rugby.
The summer is done but it has been a summer of rugby for many young kids throughout the Seattle area.
