Boys School-Team Rankings Week 4
One of the toughest parts of the rankings this early in the season is when we have to drop teams out of the Top 50 when they really haven't done anything to warrant that.
Generally these are teams ranked in the 40s who haven't started playing yet. Meanwhile, teams in warmer states are playing and those results warrant being moved up.
Boys School-Team Rankings Week 3
No surprise that Charlotte Catholic moves up this week after an impressive road win over Cathedral Catholic.
Expect more movement as more teams get on the field and produce results. Right now Cathedral doesn't move down particularly far, as there are some more games for them coming up.
D1A Rankings for 2025-26 Week 16
We're back with our D1A rankings and we have a little bit of movement after UCSB won over the weekend over UC Davis.
Cal Poly dips down after a tough loss to Cal, but it's very early days for the Mustangs and we do expect them to build as they get more time together.

Preseason rankings for HS Clubs is a massive piece of guesswork.
Every club has to rely rather heavily on recruiting during the fall and in the weeks ahead. It's tough, and even teams that feel like they know what their team will look like often shrug their shoulders and say "but ... you never know."

Welcome to the 2026 Boys High School season.
While a few teams have started playing, for the most part we won't see these teams take the field for quite some time. We will see California and North Carolina, as well as Texas, play in January, and that should help move the rankings around.
