GRR: Rankings

irish rugby tours

03.24.2022 - Alex Goff

We didn't run a rankings last week so here we are with two weeks' worth of data.

We are about to enter the national spring playoffs, and we'll see which of the eight DIAA teams in those playoffs might power through and challenge for #1.

This ranking took a while to wade through because there are some major shifts coming as teams get all their players and enter league play.

We're probably going to get some ... well maybe not hate mail, but perhaps "displeased mail" on this one.

Yes, true, #1 De La Salle won again, and should very little weakness. Why drop them down? Yes, sure, Jesuit of New Orleans won a game, again, so why drop them a spot? Do the analysts at GRR World HQ even understand what rugby is?

OK so we have an asterisk.

Sorry for the late posting of this.

As you may know, we are in Ireland seeing first-hand how Irish Rugby Tours sets up tours for teams across America. We saw St. Thomas Aquinas play Ennis Rugby Club on the West Coast of Ireland to a tie.
