The USA Women’s National 7s team is in to the Cup Quarterfinals in Sao Paulo after a 2-1 day of pool play in Brazil.

The Eagles looked out of sorts against New Zealand in their opener, getting just the one try from Jillion Potter in a 35-5 loss. In their second game, the Americans showed flashes of what they can do, but also made little errors.

The USA Men's National Team will face the Chile Condors Saturday in the third round of the ARC.

The Eagles sit tied with the Argentina XV in 1st place, albeit behind Argentina on points difference.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (USA Rugby Release) – Men's Eagles Head Coach John Mitchell will continue the trend of awarding caps in the team's final home match of the inaugural Americas Rugby Championship Saturday, Feb. 20, when Chile visits Lockhart Stadium.

Next up for the USA Men’s 15s team, Chile.

Having survived the two toughest opponents of the Americas Rugby Championship with eight points out of a possible ten, the Eagles now look to get victories against Chile in Fort Lauderdale, and on the road against Uruguay and Brazil to perhaps, if they get a little help, win the tournament.
