The ongoing discussions between USA Rugby and PRO Rugby USA is about PRO wanting to extend the league's sanctioning agreement past the current three-year deal.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The newly-formed United States Rugby Players Associations (USRPA) has announced that it will extend membership to the PRO Rugby players, effective immediately.
In a December 22 announcement, the USRPA said it "pledges its support to help PRO Rugby players through this critical period."

Boys HS All Americans Head Coach Salty Thompson has named the players who are set to attend the Winter Camp in Case Grande, Ariz.
The camp will start on December 27 and end December 31. The players were chosen through scouting at the Regional Cup Tournaments over the summer, and through other scouting avenues.
PRO Rugby chief evecutive Doug Schoninger issued a statement to players today, Dec 20 that casts serious doubt on whether the one-season-old league can survive a second year.
