After enjoying a healthy lead over Canada for much of the game, the USA Men’s National Team found themselves up only 20-16.

Canada, by virtue of a try from Nick Blevins, had pulled within a try. USA scrumhalf Mike Petri, who had lost his fitting trying to tackle Blevins, said captain Chris Wyles rallied the team.

The visitors exerted themselves early on, as the WJAAs struggled to find some continuity. But it was a slow build for the Americans, and the hosts didn't allow another point-against in their 32-5 win.

What a way to start the history books. The Girls High School All Americans (GHSAAs), powered by ATAVUS, played their first-ever 15s match and won 58-0 against the British Columbia U18s in Canada. While the provincial side never slacked in effort, the visitors dominated possession and aggression while the bench emptied during the 70-minute match.
