High School Boys
Day One of the Mount Invitational kicked off Friday with Boys U19 and U16 games.
In the U19s, all of the games were very close with teams showing some game savvy in shortened contests, opting to go for goal when a kickable penalty presented itself.
Age-grade select sides from Connecticut and Rhode Island will play each other Saturday as curtain-raisers to the Major League Rugby between the New England Free Jacks and Houston Sabercats.
We're in the middle of HS select-side season and this weekend is relatively busy.
But before we get to that, let's take a look at the past couple of week.
The Buckeye Classic last week welcomes teams from North Carolina (North Carolina All-Stars), Ohio (Aviators), Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh Harlequins), and the Atlantis 15s.
