The Woodland HS Club returns to Texas with a two-game sweep of Kansas City-area opposition this weekend.
On Saturday, Woodlands defeated the Kansas City Jr. Blues 46-7.
Indiana's Pendleton swept their games at the President's Cup tournament in Tennessee over the weekend.
Father Ryan, 901, and Raptors Rugby from Tennessee along with St. Xavier HS from Ohio and Pendleton from Indiana convened on Knoxville, Tenn. to play shortened games against each other.
The Hough Huskies capped off an undefeated season in North Carolina's single-school competition with a 40-10 defeat of Marvin Ridge Saturday in the league's championship game.

Cathedral Catholic won the SCIRF title, beating St. Augustine 50-28. This was Cathedral's fourth-straight SCIRF title and a huge rivalry game also for both teams in any sport.
Some good cross-border games are coming up and Woodlands is taking a trip to the Heartland to play the KC Jr. Blues and St. Thomas Aquinas.
Now that applications for Boys HS Nationals are in, now we get to evaluate what teams that we think applied to the tournament are able to do. We're pretty sure the Woodlands trip involves a team are two that fits into that category.
