High School Boys
All eyes turn to Ohio this weekend as the National Youth 7s Championships kick off at Walsh University.
The tournament is Friday and Saturday at Walsh's fields in North Canton, Ohio, with a new U18 bracket added on to the U16 and U14.
A second-half surge saw Minnetonka win the Minnesota Boys D1 HS championship Saturday, as they defeated the Albert Lea Freeborn Eagles to take the title.
Greenwich HS won the Connecticut state final over the weekend, taking home a very close win over Fairfield Prep.
There is still plenty of time to apply for the US Rugby Foundation college scholarships.

Detroit Catholic Central won the Michigan boys HS championship over the weekend, beating West Ottawa in emphatic fashion 66-17 in the final.
The DCC offense was impressive throughout the season, as they went 13-0 and averaged 63 points per game—nine times they scored 60 or more.
Really the only team to come close to DCC was Detroit Loyola, which lost 33-24 to the Shamrocks.
