The University of Indiana defeated University of Notre Dame Saturday in a playoff warmup for both teams.

IU is looking ahead to the DIAA playoffs, and Notre Dame has the Varsity Cup to word about, so this was a useful run-out for both.

In the end, it was all Indiana, winning 43-8.

As March is around the corner there’s the little matter of figuring out who will be in the Men’s DIAA playoffs.

The DIAA championship is starting to garner some interest around the nation, and programs realize this is a good post-season for smaller DI programs, clubs, and up-and-coming quasi-varsity teams.

Baylor University defeated the Texas Longhorns 48-20 Saturday to improve to 2-2 and move into 3rd in DIA's Red River Conference.

It was yet another impressive result for Baylor, which almost beat Oklahoma three weeks ago. This season has been a good one for the Bears, but it has also bee difficult.

Grand Canyon University stayed in the Gold Coast Conference hunt with a 59-26 defeat of Cal State Fullerton 59-26 at GCU’s Colter Field Saturday.
