Here's a look at some of the Men's DI College players who stood out this past weekend ... this week's Gamebreakers:
Brandon Healey
The Binghamton University flyhalf had a brilliant day goalkicking in the Empire Conference final, pinning Syracuse deep in their end, and then ultimately kicking the game-winning penalty goal in a 21-20 nailbiter.
Not too many major changes after this past weekend's conference playoffs, as we didn't see too many surprises.
Baylor continued its run of strong results this past weekend with a 29-20 defeat of Texas State.
The win makes Baylor 4-0, and the Bears have some momentum as they go into a key Red River contest with Oklahoma this coming weekend.
Some more on the developments have arisen surrounding the Rugby Northeast tiebreaker issue.
The Rugby Northeast playoff seeds have changed twice so far in the last couple of days, and could change again.
After Bentley defeated Providence College and Southern Connecticut won over St. Michael's to get all three at 7-1. Rugby Northeast does not use the bonus point system, and so the teams were just flat-out tied at 7-1.
