Winter break is officially over and we're into some high school action this coming weekend.
In fact, we had some action this past weekend with Torrey Pines and San Clemente facing off in Southern California. Torrey Pines won 49-14.
Belmont Shore Comes Back? They Never Left
Somehow Belmont Shore did it.
Really, it wasn’t as if Shore was playing poorly, but after a loss to the touring Woodlands side from Texas and then in the regular season to the San Diego Mustangs, as well as a very nervy and close semifinal to the SOC Raptors, they were not favorites to win the SoCal Boys HS Club final this past weekend.

Raptors vs Thunder Highlights SoCal Weekend SOC Raptors, Belmont Shore, and the San Diego Mustangs all won in Southern California's HS Club season as all three moved to 2-0. For Belmont Shore, the defending HS Club National Champion, their win was fairly straightforward, 59-0 over Rancho Cucamonga and a rebound from a close loss to touring Woodlands earlier in the week.
