GRR: Colorado State
Colorado State's win over Air Force caps off the Rocky Mountain Conference fall season with both CSU and BYU unbeaten.
Grand Canyon's two-game tour of Colorado wrapped up Sunday with a 24-15 loss to Colorado State.
As we outlined in the report on GCU's opening match, a 25-15 loss to Colorado, this is the first run-out for GCU with their D1A lineup and a good road test for them, wins or losses.
Colorado State remains on top of the Rocky Mountain Conference after another victory over the weekend.
Now, this is still in progress and BYU (now 1-0 after a 67-3 win over Utah State) and Air Force (now 2-0) are also unbeaten.
Colorado State won their opening Rocky Mountain Conference game and right now it looks like, again, there's a hot chase for 2nd in the conference as BYU remains the front-runner.
BYU is of course leading the Rocky Mountain Conference, but the question remains whether anyone can push them.
The Cougars beat a very strong Utah State team 54-3 and look to launch from there in the next couple of weeks.
