GRR: Marquette HS
Marquette HS took the Boys HS Wisconsin final this past weekend, edging a tenacious Pulaski Roos side 21-17.
The Hilltoppers scored two times before 10 minutes were up and seemed to be, maybe, in control. But the Pulaski Roos came right back and Marquette Head Coach Colin Dillon said they caught his team unawares.
Wisconsin's high school finals are here with two matches on the slate Staurday at the Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex in Cottage Grove.
Marquette will play the Pulaski Roos in the final while Green Bay plays Waukesha Gold in the 3rd-4th game.

Marquette University finished their season in a peak, beating a very good Green Bay Leprechauns team 50-0 to win the Wisconsin State championship.
It was a wet and muddy day and with the playoff games having produced various handling errors due in part to the conditions and in part due to defensive pressure, the same was expected in this final. However, the Hilltoppers adjusted.
Marquette HS has seen its strong start at the All-Catholic Tournament in St. Louis translate nicely into Wisconsin league play.
The Hilltoppers are now 3-0 after Friday's emphatic 56-0 victory over Middleton.
The SLUH All-Catholic Tournament finished up with a strong performance from St. Thomas Aquinas.
Led by their second row pairing of Jake Ernsting and Carson Kraft, the Saints beat a very good SLUH team 14-3.
