Colin Walmsley, who plays center on the Dartmouth men’s rugby team, will study anthropology at Oxford University as Dartmouth’s 78th Rhodes Scholar, the university announced. 
 Following his studies, Walmsley, of Fort Macleod, Canada, hopes to "work as an advocate for human social justice and fairness," according to his Rhodes Scholars profile.

The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference crowned South Carolina as champions and have named their All-Conference team and Player of the Year. SCRC 15s Rugby Player of the Year - Dana CorcoranSouth Carolina's Dana Corcoran has been named SCRC Player of the Year.

The Arizona State rugby program will enjoy a challenging 15s schedule this coming winter and spring, including games against many of North America's best teams.

The Sun Devils open the season against last year’s Varsity Cup and DIA Champions respectively, and follow that up with a tough PAC Conference and Varsity Cup schedule.

The National Small College Rugby Orgnaization has announced that New England College’s Director of Rugby Jeremy Treece plans to take his team to DI next fall.

Since it began competing in the NSCRO playoff system in the fall of 2012, NEC has found great success, winning the 2014 7s national championship and finishing 2nd in 15s last spring.

The finals weekend of the Men's DII college playoffs produced little in the way of surprises. Goff Rugby Report had Minnesota-Duluth at #1 all fall and they didn't disappoint, winning it all.
