GRR: College Men
Men’s D2 college action was somewhat small last weekend in what was the opening shot for several teams.
This coming week will almost triple the number of games involving D2 teams, so we’ve got our work cut out for us in covering them.
It's very, very early days in D1A.
We make a couple of small shifts, but that's about it for the moment.
Mount St. Mary's vs Davenport ended up hitting just about right with regard to the rankings. That one we were ready to make some changes on.
Well we have a lot of movement here and that's not a surprise.
When your #2 team loses you make moves.
Iowa jumps up after beating Iowa State. Sam Houston State moves up because we're impressed. Same with Texas A&M.
And same with Oklahoma, as they move up
Pitt, Bowling Green, and Louisville all started the MAC season 1-0 after victories this weekend.
Louisville unfortunately got their win thanks to a forfeit by Dayton, which isn't the way anyone wants to take a win, or a loss for that matter.
Bowling Green defeated Cincinnati 26-10 to open their conference account.
Well this was a great week in our NCR D1 rankings because of our Top 20, we had 14 in ranked-vs-ranked games.
That was really helpful to us and forced some serious shifts.
We were impressed with Walsh and they have a ton of talent and potential.
