The D1A rankings are going to be very important in the next couple of weeks as we look to the playoffs in April.
Conference champions automatically qualify for the playoffs and host a game, but who else gets in, and who hosts games come down to the totality of their performances. Some of those totalities are clear and easy to track, some not so much.
The curtain drops on the spring DIAA playoffs in a few weeks and
San Diego is the team in Gold Coast after beating Cal State Long Beach 31-19 to move to 3-0 in the conference.

Lindenwood clinched their first ever Mid-South rugby title by beating Davenport 43-6 at home over the weekend.
The match was controlled by the Lions from the opening kickoff. Lindenwood scored seven tries by seven different players earning them the win and the needed bonus point to win the conference.
This weekend's D1A offering includes a chance for Lindenwood to clinch the Mid-South, a huge non-conference clash between BYU and Arizona, and the latest in Army's preparation tour.
