Pitt, Bowling Green, and Louisville all started the MAC season 1-0 after victories this weekend.
Louisville unfortunately got their win thanks to a forfeit by Dayton, which isn't the way anyone wants to take a win, or a loss for that matter.
Bowling Green defeated Cincinnati 26-10 to open their conference account.
Well this was a great week in our NCR D1 rankings because of our Top 20, we had 14 in ranked-vs-ranked games.

In a thrilling in-state rivalry clash, the University of Iowa edged out Iowa State 24–22 in a back-and-forth contest marked by tough defense, heavy collisions, gusty winds, and multiple lead changes in the final minutes.
This was a Heart of America Conference game and with Iowa State being the defending champs, it was expected to be tough sledding for the Hawkeyes.
