BOULDER, Colo. (USA Rugby Release) – USA Rugby announced Wednesday the regional and championship locations for the Women's Division I and Division II Fall Championships and Men's Division II National Championship.

While this is the second year that Great Waters has hosted a two-pool, 14-team league, it is the competition’s first season as a hybrid league. Two of the divisions’ best – DII’s UW Stevens Point and NSCRO’s UW Platteville – squared off on Saturday, and UWSP exited with a 38-0 win to secure first in the northern pool.

Towson has struggled the last few seasons. After an incident with the university in fall 2013, the women’s team was placed on probation. The club was still allowed to play its matrix matches in the DII Capital conference; however, the coach was fired and certain strictures were placed on the team.

There is new reason for the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) to get excited about playoffs. The previous two years, the MARC championship coincided with the national fall Round of 32, so the conference received two seeds directly to the Round of 16.
