The CRAA Women’s D1 College final eight are set and the teams will face off this weekend to decide who plays in the national final December 4 in North Carolina.
College rugby right now seems to be a little like a group of lifeboats circling a foundering ship—you wonder who's going to pick up whom, who will strike on for shore on their own, and will that foundering ship actually get back afloat?
The finalists for the MA Sorensen Award as the top women's college rugby player in the United States have been selected.
A combination of coach/team votes, and fan votes, have whittled the list of nominees down to five finalists. The top fan vote-getter is an automatic finalist, and so is the top team vote-getter (those votes usually logged by coaches or team presidents).
LAFAYETTE, CO - The 2020 USA Rugby Spring College Championships will commence Saturday, May 2nd at the Stanford University Rugby Field in Stanford, Calif. as USA Rugby has confirmed its college playoff venues.
Stanford will also host the West Regional Playoffs.
