With the festivities in Las Vegas going on, it's easy to forget that there's business to be done this week in college rugby.
People ask us how we put together these rankings, and we have to admit that sometimes it's a gestalt thing - just go with a feeling.
Here are the games this weekend in Men's DI college rugby.
Cal Poly can make a statement in the California Conference, even if the Mustangs lose to Saint Mary's (which is what most would expect). If they are competitive, then that's a sign that what we at Goff Rugby Report suspect - the California is a competitive conference throughout, not just at the top - is true.
Well there was bound to be a shakeup in the rankings at some point, and frankly we didn't think it would be this week, but there you go.
NEW YORK – The Varsity Cup has released the brackets for its 2017 playoff today, Feb. 22.
Fourteen well-regarded college teams will compete in a four-weekend playoffs. Two teams - the top finishers from 2016 that remain in the competition - will get a bye.
