GRR: University of Michigan
College teams got going early this weekend, with several crossover matches and even a conference game.
Two years running, now, the University of Michigan has won the NCR Women’s D1 championship, both times beating a school-supported team in Notre Dame College in the final.
Michigan and Wisconsin Eau Claire both secured repeats championships in NCR women's playoffs, while St. Bonaventure won their first-ever small-college championship.

Michigan State clinched the #1 seed out of the Big 10 East going into the Big 10 semifinals with a convincing 32-19 victory over rivals Michigan State.
This is the annual rivalry match between the two teams, known as the Battle for the Mitten, and with the result MSU is 3-0 in Big 10 East action.
November 11 brings the Big 10 Finals Day to Notre Dame, but there's plenty to be figured out before those eight teams convene in South Bend.
