Colorado Springs defeated PAC 22-5 this weekend in Rugby Colorado league play and it was a big win for the Grizzlies as they try to claw their way back to the top of the DI league.

With the victory, Colorado Springs is now tied with East HS at 4-1 in the Boys HS DI league.

Colorado Springs certainly sent a message to every other HS team in Colorado with an emphatic 43-5 defeat of a very good Littleton team Friday night.

Rugby Colorado’s league season may be getting off to a snowy start - when does it not? - but it’s a start with many implications, as the Littleton Eagle take on perennial state champs Colorado Springs.

“We’ve been doing a lot of shoveling,” joked Littleton Head Coach Charlie Riley about his team preparing for the always tough Grizzlies.

Heading the list of games is perennial contender East HS, which plays Regis Jesuit as the curtain-raiser for the two Pacific Rugby Premiership men’s club games to be held at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colo.
