Penn State moved to 2-0 in the Women's Big Ten Universities Conference with a workmanlike 55-12 defeat of Michigan Saturday. Michigan tested Penn State early, and it was only 18-12 at halftime.

The top dogs howled a little louder Saturday in the Rugby East as Kutztown and Penn State won big. Kutztown defeated Iona 72-0. “There’s nothing to say except two completely different calibers of team,” said Iona Head Coach Bruce McLane. West Point held off Penn State 19-15 Saturday at the Anderson Rugby Complex to start their Rugby East conference season 1-0.
In a game that saw both teams lead at various points in the match, Army did enough.
