The Utah Lions Girls showed well in the opening day of the Heidelberg 7s, a tournament being used as a tuneup for the United World Games in Austria.
But before we get to Austria we have to worry about Germany and here the Lions won Pool A defeating Dutch Girls Rugby 34-0, Dubai 38-7, and Stade Francais 38-0.
Three North American teams are in the historical city of Heidelberg, Germany for the 2023 Heidelberg 7s in preparation for next week's United World Games in Austria.
The North American Lions have named their two rosters for their June 7s tours.
Both the boys and the girls U18 teams will play at the Heidelberg 7s in Heidelberg, Germany as a warmup and then the United World Games in Klagenfurt, Australia.
The Heidelberg Youth 7s will be June 17-18 in the home of Germany's oldest and most famous university (it's over 600 years old).
The Atlantis Rugby Corporation will host an Individual Testing and Open Rugby Sevens Camp for High School Boys/Girls on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 9AM to 3PM.
The camp will be valuable for novice and experienced players alike and is open to any player registered with USA Rugby.
