Goff Rugby Report has named Bowling Green University hooker Phil Bryant as the Fall 2016 MVP Forward.
Bryant was an inspirational leader for BGSU as the Falcons rolled to the fall DIAA final. The Archbishop Moeller product is only a sophomore, but has shown significant leadership in a forward pack where everyone else was either a junior or a senior.
The Chesapeake Collegiate Conference has named its all-conference team. The list of 28 players includes representatives from all nine teams.

James Madison University took care of business in the DIAA Round of 16 Saturday, beating Harvard 49-16 to move on to the quarterfinal/semifinal weekend at Bowling Green next week.
It's kind of hard to pin down James Madison University, as the program bounces between 7s and 15s this season, but somehow we have to do it, and somehow the players have to do it, too.
We’ve been wanting to do a Gamebreakers column for college players for a few weeks now, and somehow the week always seems to end before we can do it.
Well, this time, we’ve made it a priority. The selections are based on performances throughout the past couple of weeks.
