GRR: Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference
Don’t look now but James Madison is making a move.
After a series of years where JMU was not getting the results they are used to, the Dukes are now 3-0 and right in the thick of it with 4-0-1 St. Joseph’s and 3-0 Rowan.
Georgetown is now 5-0 in Mid-Atlantic play and it's looking like they are on a collision course with Villanova in Men's D2 action.
Villanova moved to 3-0 in the Mid-Atlantic D2 East league after a 32-12 victory over Drexel.
The game was played in the middle of Villanova's fall break and the Wildcats were without five first-side players, including three inside backs. But they fronted up well enough.
Georgetown, and pretty much everyone else, went into this year's MARC DII season blind.
It's still all clogged at the top of the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference with the top four all winning.
