The University of Michigan Wolverines growled their way to a 7s victory in Dayton, Ohio, winning all four games at the Dayton 7s to take the cup.

Led by some excellent work out wide by Sequoyah Burke-Combs and with captain Zach Burns keeping the team together, Michigan defeated Michigan State 24-10, Kent State 36-0, and University of Dayton 30-7.

Kutztown University rode a strong defense and a lot of team speed to sweep the field at the ACRL 7s tournament at Virginia Tech.

KU defeated the hosts in the final of this tournament which is a qualifier for the ACRL finals.

USA Rugby has 24 slots to fill in their Men’s College 7s Championships, and deciding who gets to fill those slots will be a tough job.

West Virginia University ran the table at the Big XII 7s in Norman, Okla., winning the tournament and qualifying for the USA Rugby Collegiate 7s Championships.

Luke Ellis paced the Mountaineers with six tries, while Austin Hoover scored five on the day and captain Cecil Wilson scored four as WVU finished 5-0.

USA Rugby Release - BOULDER, Colo. – USA Rugby, in partnership with IMG, will hold the 2015 College 7s National Championships at the University of Denver. Forty-eight of college rugby’s finest men’s and women’s programs will descend upon the University of Denver campus May 23-24 to compete in three tournament fields – Men’s Division I, Men’s Division II, and the Women’s Division.
