Since our last – and first – Women’s College 7s Top 20 ranking, two events have occurred: USA Rugby’s College 7s Championship and the CRC 7s invitational. Those results obviously influenced the reorder of the rankings, but a few judgment calls were invoked that go against some place finishes.
New Mexico Highlands won the third annual NSCRO Men’s 7s National Championship in a final at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. May 31.
The final was the culmination of a series of qualifier tournaments and the chapionship event held in Chester during the CRC weekend.

After our rant earlier this spring on the impossibility of ranking college 7s, we take a shot at it. With the ACRC 7s, CRC, and USA Rugby Championships done, here's what we've come up with in ranking men's college 7s teams.
Here’s a spoiler: Penn State is going to win our 2015 Women’s College of the Year. The women celebrated arguably the most successful month of college rugby ever, winning national titles in 15s and 7s, followed by a CRC trophy, during the course of three weeks in May.
