The first day of Pool Play is done in the Men’s DI College 7s Championships in Cary, NC, and the favorites, for the most part, looked the part.
Goff Rugby Report pool picks Central Washington, Saint Mary’s, Lindenwood, AIC, and Notre Dame College all started strong

Well this is a very good, and very deep, Men's DII College 7s Championships field.
Sixteen teams are in action, adding to the 24 in the Men's DI, it makes 40 teams in men's rugby alone. Not bad. Here is how we see the pools.
This is perhaps the most exciting women's DI college 7s field ever, with 11 teams, all of which - yes, every single one - have the ability to win it all.
There is not a single easy game in the tournament, and as such every game will need to be played to the utmost.
Well we’re now into the final two weekends of the College 7s season. We’re going to preview all four brackets at the USA Rugby College 7s Nationals, and give you some ideas on who we think will win.
