GRR: Lindenwood
Lindenwood University seems to be playing as if the players have chips on their shoulders.
After playing in a tough league that saw them score 63 points in four games, the Lions have unleashed their offensive capability in impressive fashion, scoring 69 on Colorado State and 59 on Air Force.
Lindenwood University usually plays on artificial turf, and this weekend at Air Force they will play on grass, so for much of the last couple of weeks, the Lions have been practicing on a natural surface.
Colorado State travels to St. Charles, Mo. Saturday for the DIA quarterfinals clash with Lindenwood, and this is a game full of intrigue and interest.
Life University moved to 3-0 and all but clinched the Mid-South DIA Conference with an 18-15 nailbiter at Lindenwood.
Saturday will mark the third time that Davenport and Lindenwood have played each, and the DII Panthers have accounted for the previous two wins. But the Lady Lions are in their best position yet and will bring a revitalized squad to what is always an excellent match-up.
