Rain hit the HS schedule pretty hard this past weekend, but we did get some games and some standout performances.

Josh Schnell, Katy Barbarians
The Katy threequarter scored two long-range tries in a 29-22 win over Westlake.
Peninsula Green rattled off six wins against one loss this past weekend at the Kickoff Tournament in Sacramento, but still found a formidable opponent in longstanding NorCal power Jesuit HS.
The results are a message that Pen Green could be a real player in the Northern California Premier.
After the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy U17s hammered the British Columbia U17s 58-17 Wednesday and look for a repeat performance at the campus UBC on Saturday.

Gonzaga is the first single-school team to win three straight national championships, holding off Jesuit of Sacramento Saturday in a single-school final that could not have been closer.
The game was the final game played at the Rugby Athletic Center, which saw virtually all of its grass rubbed away after torrential rains and 17 previous games on the main field.
On a day honoring the graduating seniors of Jesuit High School, the Sacramento-based Marauders faced a very skilled team from Rangitoto College in New Zealand, and came away victorious.
Rangitoto was coming off two tour wins against Bellarmine Prep (65-14) and the Solo Falcons in Dixon (34-14).
