The Northern California Youth Rugby Association finished its summer of youth and HS 7s tournaments with their championship tournament this past weekend.
Jesuit of Sacramento took top honors in the highest boys bracket, and the Sacramento Amazons were the best girls team.

The Summer Games is a statewide, multi-sport event that includes Rugby 7s.
The New Jersey Blaze girls team galloped to win the Girls HS Championship at the Surfside 7s this past weekend at Stone Harbor, NJ.
The Blaze finished 5-0, outscoring opponents 159-30, and shutting out all of their opponents in pool play.
The Atlantis select side program won the Boys' High School Division of the 2014 Surfside Sevens by defeating the Maryland Exiles 19-7 in the final Sunday in Stone Harbor, NJ.
It was a battle of two undefeated teams, a hard game with excellent skills on view.
The Club 7s Championships hosted by Serevi in Tukwila, Wash. will include two high-school-age tournaments as well.
As many as eight teams are slated to play in the HS Boys bracket of the Serevi Cup, with most being select sides. Rugby Washington will field two teams, Rugby Oregon will field one, and the Eastside Lions of the Seattle Area will also play.
