ECRC

The East Coast Rugby Conference (ECRC) is a college rugby conference, founded in 2011 after USA Rugby restructured collegiate leagues. Historically, it featured teams from the northeastern United States in USA Collegiate D1AA rugby. However, the collegiate rugby landscape has been fluid, and a major reorganization occurred in early 2025.

In February 2025, five teams from the Rugby East Conference left to form the Atlantic Rugby Conference (ARC) within the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR). This change significantly reshaped the competitive landscape for rugby programs on the East Coast.

ECRC Releases All-Conference List

The East Coast Rugby Conference has named its all-conference team for the 2014 fall season. Awards fell heavily to the champions are runners up, AIC and Boston College, with 21 awards between them.

New England College to Move to DI

The National Small College Rugby Orgnaization has announced that New England College’s Director of Rugby Jeremy Treece plans to take his team to DI next fall.

Since it began competing in the NSCRO playoff system in the fall of 2012, NEC has found great success, winning the 2014 7s national championship and finishing 2nd in 15s last spring.

AIC Beats Bowling Green in a Classic

In a game that completely and utterly delivered on what was promised, ECRC conference champs American International College defeated MAC champions Bowling Green 46-40 in their ACRC Bowl Se

Close-Knit AIC Happy at 6-0

AIC clinched 1st in the ECRC conference with an impressive 45-20 victory over Middlebury Saturday, finishing a 6-0 campaign.

In a game where Middlebury had a shot at taking 1st, the teams were in a tight contest in the first half, with the teams changing ends 17-10 AIC.

It was 20-13 early in the second half before AIC started to pull away.
