In one of the most exciting and well-played girls high school rugby games any fan will ever want to see, Divine Savior Holy Angels held off Sparta Rock 31-29 to win the 2023 Midwest Championships.
The game capped an exciting weekend of rugby that saw teams from all over the region compete.

This was the second-straight title for DSHA, as they won in 2019 and the tournament was not held due to the COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021. This is the 9th championship overall for the Milwaukee school.
Divine Savior was impressive in winning this past weekend's Girls Midwest Championships, winning all three games by a combined score of 153-34.
In a bit of a head-turner in girls HS rugby, Catholic Memorial beat Divine Savior Holy Angels 21-17 in the final of the Wisconsin Girls Rugby championship.
Hamilton defeated Green Bay to secure the 3rd place trophy, and Muskego scored their first try and earned their team’s first win.
